Hello! I am Suzie Sroka, and I am a textile artist and designer.  From being tiny I would sit and draw, creativity has always just been a part of me as much as the air that I breathe!

To make me happy as a child was easy, some pencils and paper and I was in heaven! Since then,I have added a love of many crafts to my life... cross stitch,embroidery, china painting, stained glass, and many more. I love being creative! So after many years of sewing shop bought kits, it just came naturally to progress into turning my own drawings into cross stitch and needle doodles (stitchery). A few of my cross stitches have been freshly designed onto graph paper, but the majority are painstakingly transferred to cross stitch from my original drawings.  My needle doodles are drawn freshly for the job.

I have a certificate in china painting, a City and Guilds in creative studies and I once  did a City and Guilds course in fashion. 

My days are spent drawing and sewing my creations. In other moments I can be found working in the garden, growing vegetables and herbs and talking to the plants!  I live in Lancashire, England with my long suffering husband and soul mate George and our three nutty dogs... two crazy Jack Russells, Bertie and Peggy and an dotty Old English Sheepdog named Ralph.
